FAQ

I'm a veteran that has written a great song. Will you release it for me?

All of the songs that we release are written through our foundation songwriting program.
There are other veteran non-profits that specialize in aiding veterans with their musical pursuits. Please check out:

Operation Encore: Offers veterans a chance to expand themselves as an artist.

Operation Cherrybend: Offers opportunities to perform at their events.

Note: Please do not submit music. We are legally not allowed to listen to song pitches. Any song pitches submitted will not be listened to.

I'm a veteran, but not a combat veteran. Does that disqualify me from your programs?

Our foundation programs are for combat disabled veterans only. But, we do offer community based programs in Dallas, Nashville and Chicago as well as virtual programs that are open to all veterans.

I'm a veteran but don't have much money. How much do your programs cost?

All of our programs are 100% free for veteran participants. You must submit an application to be selected. We do not offer any programs that non-qualifying veterans can pay to attend.

How do you find veterans for your programs?

Most of our veterans come from word of mouth from other veteran participants. But, we are open to any and all combat veterans who suffer from unseen wounds of war.

Can I refer a friend to your program?

ABSOLUTELY! Please refer any combat veteran that you know.

How long does the application process take?

We have a long list of applicants. Due to funding, we are only able to offer a few of our foundation art programs and songwriting programs each year. With increased funding we will offer more programs.

We usually start selecting our summer art program participants in March/April and our winter art program participants in September/August. Our songwriting participants will be contacted when spots become available. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have not heard back about your application status.

How can I volunteer/help?

You can submit to volunteer HERE.

However, our biggest need currently is donations. Please reach out to your connections if you have any connections to donors.
